Jorge ALMAZÁN

Graduated from the School of Architecture, Polytechnics University of Madrid in 2003. In 2001 he studied at the Technische Universität Darmstadt. He completed the Doctoral Degree at Tokyo Institute of Technology in 2007. In 2008 he held the position of Invited Professor of Architectural Design at the University of Seoul. Since April 2009 he teaches in Keio University, where he leads Studiolab: a university-based collaboration platform that works as architecture design studio and research laboratory.

He obtained the Bachelor’s degree (2012) and the Master’s degree (2014) from Keio University. Currently he is Research Assistant of the GESL (Global Environmental System Leaders) Program, and doctoral candidate in Keio University. Obtained prizes include the 48th Central Glass International Architectural Design Competition and Keio University 2014 Fujiwara Award.

Helena MACHÍN

Graduated from the School of Architecture, Polytechnics University of Madrid in 2013. She studied at Tongji University of Shanghai in 2012. Since March 2014, she is member of Asturias Professional Association of Architects and had been working as self-employed architect for interior renovations and private housing in Spain. Currently she is PhD candidate at Keio University and a Research Assistant of the GESL (Global Environmental System Leadership) Program

Kazuyuki TAKEDA

After completing the Master Course of architecture at Tokyo University of Science, he worked for junya.ishigami+associates. Currently he is a PhD candidate at Keio University and leads Kazuyuki Takeda Architects. He was chosen for “The Best Architecture Drawings of 2016” by ArchDaily. Also his work “Wood Tower” has been chosen for exhibition at ARCHI-DEPOT to express the character of wood.

Naoki SAITO

He obtained the Bachelor’s degree (2014) and the Master’s degree (2016) from Tokyo University of Science. He is doctoral candidate in Keio University from 2017. He obtained 2nd prize of the 14th JIA exhibition of student works for master’s degree, and also he was the finalist of the Tokyo Kenchiku collection.He is a Taiju Sasaki Scholarship student in 2017, and a first-class architect (license no.367675).

Kevin CANONICA

Obtained the Bachelor of Arts degree in 2014 from the School of Architecture and Engineering in Fribourg. In 2016, after an exchange program in Chiba University, he received the Master of Arts degree from Joint Master Architecture of Fribourg. During his studies he worked for several architectures offices as engineer and architectural draftsman and architect. Currently he is PhD candidate at Keio University.

Alejandro PINEDA

Graduated with honors from the Polytechnic School, University of Alicante in 2016, with a specialty in Technologies applied to the Architecture and Urbanism. Since 2017 he has been working in Urban Revitalizing Projects in various prefectures of Japan as a member of Sosei Partners. He obtained the first place in the 8th "Healthy Housing awards" international competition. Currently he is PhD candidate at Keio University.

Mio SUZUKI

Mio Suzuki studied at Waseda University, Japan, and received her Bachelor in Architecture, Science and Engineering. From 2006 to 2011 she works for Foreing Office Architects Ltd in London where she enjoyed success in various large scale projects including a number of high-rise buildings projects. In 2011, she moved back to Japan and worked at Keio University. Currently she is PhD candidate at Keio University.
